Claire Halse holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialisation in Classical Voice from the Dame Nellie Melba Memorial Conservatorium, Melbourne, and a Master of Teaching from Melbourne University. With a teaching career spanning since 2011, Claire has shared her expertise in primary classrooms and choral music settings within both public and private schools. In addition to her school-based roles, Claire has been a dedicated educator in the wider community, serving as the esteemed instructor and conductor for the Canberra branch of the Australian Girls’ Choir since 2018.
Claire is deeply passionate about imparting her love for singing and honing vocal techniques to students of all ages. Currently, she is engaged in teaching Years 2-6, leads the Primary School Year Level Choirs and directs the Primary School Chorale. Her commitment to nurturing young voices and fostering a lifelong appreciation for music shines through in her dynamic teaching approach.
